1. Who We Are

Athlinix is operated by the individual publisher of Athlinix. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect personal data in connection with the current Athlinix release, which at this stage is limited to pre-booking, early-access registration, and related communications.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to the Athlinix mobile application, linked landing pages, forms, websites, support interactions, and pre-launch communications connected to the current release.

As Athlinix expands in later versions, we may update this Policy so it accurately reflects newly launched features and related data practices.

3. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

  • pre-booking or waitlist details, such as your name, email address, phone number, city, organisation, sport, role, and any message or notes you choose to submit
  • communications you send to us, including support emails, responses, and feedback
  • basic technical and device information, such as device model, operating system, app version, language, IP address, and approximate location inferred from IP where technically available
  • app or website usage information, such as page views, button taps, session timing, crash diagnostics, and referral information
  • information from authentication, hosting, analytics, form, messaging, or support providers, if used in the current release

  • to operate the pre-booking or waitlist flow and maintain your request
  • to contact you about onboarding, launch updates, invitations, access status, and support
  • to improve app performance, reliability, onboarding, and product planning
  • to prevent spam, abuse, fraud, and misuse
  • to comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms

5. Legal Bases

Depending on the context, we process personal data based on your consent, our need to take steps at your request before providing services, our legitimate interests in running and improving Athlinix, and compliance with legal obligations.

6. Children and Minors

The current Athlinix release is not intended to collect personal data from children without appropriate permission.

If a user is under 18, a parent or legal guardian should supervise or approve any pre-booking submission. If we learn that personal data of a child was submitted without required authority, we may delete it.

7. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal data.

  • with service providers that help us host, analyse, communicate, secure, or support the app and related forms
  • with professional advisers, auditors, or authorities where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or security
  • as part of a merger, investment, restructuring, acquisition, or sale, subject to appropriate notice where required

8. Data Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, including waitlist administration, support, compliance, recordkeeping, and dispute handling.

If you ask us to delete your information, we will delete or anonymise it unless we need to retain some data for legitimate business or legal reasons.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal data, including access controls, encrypted transmission where supported, and vendor security measures appropriate to the current release. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

10. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about the personal data we hold about you. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

12. Play Store and Device Permissions

If future app versions request device permissions or collect additional categories of data, we will update this Privacy Policy, any in-app disclosures, and our Google Play Data safety disclosures to reflect the actual practices of that version.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the 'Last updated' date and, where required, provide additional notice through the app, email, or our website.
